Colesterol – Remedios Caseros

Hablemos del Colesterol un enemigo que está presente en nuestra vida y cómo podemos ayudar a bajarlo y así tener una mejor calidad de vida.

TerapiaA035Es una grasa amarillenta esencial para la vida. Sin embargo, cuando aumenta su cantidad en la sangre se convierte en una anomalía seria. Aunque se produce en el hígado, cerca de veinte a treinta por ciento vienen de lo que comemos. Por ello es importante vigilar nuestros alimentos. Además, de una dieta alta en grasas saturadas, el colesterol puede ser provocado por cirrosis hepática, diabetes mellitus no controlada, desorden de la glándula tiroidea, falla renal o por una condición hereditaria. Para poder comprender el concepto y mecanismo del colesterol, es necesario saber que existen dos grasas mayores en la sangre, el colesterol y los triglicéridos. Estas grasas se rompen y se unen a ciertas proteínas y juntas viajan a través del torrente sanguíneo en forma de lipoproteínas que se clasifican en: 

  • VLDL. Lipoproteínas de muy baja densidad.
  • LDL Lipoproteínas de baja densidad.
  • HDL Lipoproteínas de alta densidad

 El colesterol de HDL se considera bueno al tener una gran capacidad de depurar las arterias. Cuanto más colesterol de este tipo se encuentre en la sangre, es mejor.

El colesterol de LDL se considera malo, ya que se acumula en las paredes de las arterias, provocando el taponamiento de éstas y restricción de la circulación sanguínea. Por ello, cuanto menores sean los niveles de este colesterol, resulta mejor
Un alto colesterol malo o LDL puede ocasionar enfermedades y situaciones serias y graves como los siguientes:

  • Angina de pecho
  • Infarto del miocardio
  • Accidente cerebro vascular
  • Dolor abdominal agudo con pancreatitis o sin ella
  • Hepatoesplenomegalia (agrandamiento del hígado y bazo)

Existen varios remedios caseros y populares para combatir el colesterol elevado como los siguientes:

Remedio 1:
Un remedio tradicional consiste en tragarse cada mañana en ayunas un diente de ajo partido por la mitad.

Remedio 2:
Otro remedio consiste en comer una manzana en ayunas para bajar el colesterol. 

Remedio 3:
Es importante señalar que existen diferentes alimentos que las abuelas utilizaban al cocinar para bajar el colesterol como el brócoli, la cebolla, el diente de león, las zanahorias crudas, la avena, las espinacas, el pomelo, la alfalfa, las almendras, las nueces, el polen, el aceite de oliva

Remedio 4:
Para bajar el colesterol, es positivo el jugo de naranjas con aceite. En este sentido, se deben exprimir dos naranjas y añadirle el aceite al zumo. Se deberá tomar un vaso en ayunas

Remedio 5:
Se puede preparar infusiones de tilo y cola de caballo, ya que la primera tiene efecto vasodilatador y sedante mientras que el segundo contiene silicio, lo que estimula la regeneración de las fibras elásticas de las paredes arteriales.

Remedio 6:
Se puede tomar caldos de verduras compuesto por ½ litro de agua, 3 ramitas de perejil, ½ cebolla, 100gr. de col, 3 ramas de apio y 1 limón (por toma), y se elabora hirviendo todos los ingredientes, previamente picados o troceados, menos el limón, 15 minutos a fuego lento, dejarlo reposar y colarlo. Antes de tomárnoslo, añadiremos el zumo de un limón en cada toma.

Remedio 7:
Preparar un jugo curativo con una cucharada de cebada, una cucharada de avena, dos cucharadas de salvado, 1 manzana picada, 1 1/2 vaso de agua y una cucharadita de miel. Para ello se debe licuar todos los ingredientes y luego beberlo preferiblemente en la mañana.

Remedio 8:
Mezclar una cucharada de salvado de maíz en media taza de agua tibia. Consumir principalmente en la mañana.

Remedio 9:
Hervir dos hojas de alcachofa en una taza de agua por 15 minutos y tomar este té principalmente por la mañana (No se debe tomar si existen problemas digestivos previos).

Remedio 10:
Hervir una mandarina con todo y cáscara en una taza de agua por 10 minutos. Tomar esta infusión principalmente durante la mañana.

Remedio 11:
Mezclar medio vaso de jugo de pepino con medio vaso de jugo de guayaba y tomar este jugo dos veces al día. 

Remedio 12:
Tomar un vaso del zumo de piña, antes y después de las comidas, durante una semana cada mes.

Remedio 13:
Verter en una licuadora 1 taza de duraznos frescos picados, 1 taza de yogurt natural descremado y 2 cucharadas de semillas de linaza. Batir hasta obtener una consistencia suave. Tomar cada tercer día. Este remedio es muy eficaz, ya que la semilla de linaza contiene fibra soluble que ayuda a combatir el colesterol malo o LDL.
